our 2013 trip went from STL to Colorado City, down to Northern NM ( look up a place called Lake Abiquiu....simply gorgeous) We took the northern route over to Lee's Ferry ( DONT CAMP THERE N SUMMER) then down to the Grand Canyon!!! AWeoMe Trip! We had a lot of "this isn't main hwy driving" but we had some GREAT scenery that we wouldn't have gotten on the interstates....our old van made the trip hauling our pu...we just took our time.
We're working on 2014 now....STL to Charleston WV to DC to Pigeon Forge TN then back to STL...any suggestions...especially for navigating DC or even a DIY float trip near Pigeon Forge...
