Just booked our first camping trip for April 2014. We're going to stay at the Jellystone in Cosby in the Smoky Mountains. Kids have never been there and we're all really looking forward to it. This summer we also plan on visiting Lake Superior in Brimley and Tahquamenon Falls. We'll visit Lake Huron at Tawas Point, and Lake Michigan at Silver Lake. We've stayed at all of these places before (aside from Tahquamenon) and have enjoyed them all.It's still another 5 months before we can dewinterize, but I'm already looking forward to it. Seems like planning is half the fun!Anyone else have vacations planned yet?

we have Spring Break planned- going to head south for some warm weather. you will enjoy Tahquamenon Falls- if you like micro breweries they have on by the upper falls. make sure you rent a row boat and go out to the island. enjoy the trips!!

February to the central Florida gulf coast!!! We've been down 3 times in the past 7 years, trying to make it a yearly trip! Missed last year because we had a 4 month old child at the time... willing to risk it with a 16 month old child though!!!Looking to spend 2 days traveling down to Florida, 1 week in Anna Maria Island (between Tampa and Sarasota), 5 days in Charleston (or 2 days Savannah, 3 days Charleston. After we leave Charleston we will either deadhead it home or break up the trip, depending on how the daughter is handling all that time in the car.2000 miles round trip at 10 mpg... the most expensive part of the trip will be the 200 gallons of gas at the current rate of $3.25/gallon. Hopefully gas prices go down in February and the further south we get.After that, nothing planned. Hoping we have enough $$$ and leave saved up to go to NYC for a couple days. I would love to go to Niagara Falls. Might hit Raystown Lake in PA. I'd love to take the wife up to upstate New York (where my mom is from and her cousin is going to school). Couple of weekend trips to southern PA, Western MD, eastern WV, eastern VA. Getting excited, even though the closest trip is at least 3 months away...

We're planning to officially retire in August and plan to spend Sept. and Oct. traveling to North Carolina for a month or so. After that, who knows. Everything could change if a grand baby is announced (we're still anxiously waiting).

We just returned from a two week jaunt through Texas, Louisiana into Arkansas and back home to Missouri and am now starting to plan our next trips. Have to agree that the planning is almost as much fun as the trip. Boards like this really help get a real perspective on the places & what is out there. Google maps, Google Earth, look out we're at it again.

We will be heading to Sieverville, TN. for a Tiffin rally in late March. In late May we will be heading to Key West for about 2 weeks. I have not planned anything yet after that for now. If nothing else we will head to some COE parks for some 7 to 10 day stays.

Oh well, looks like Alaska is off for next year. The love lives of our 2 grown children are getting serious so there just might be festivities to plan & pay for.

If anything travels will be less ambitious. We are now thinking of something very loose & flexible doing bluegrass festivals, factory tours & hopefully some lawn mower racing between the Appalachans & the Mississippi. It is an area that we have crossed many times in the past 7 years but never spent any real time in.

Looks like we're going to Lake George next summer. Lots of history in the area and that's one of my main interests plus gas is expected (hoped)to be lower than last summer. Let's keep fingers crossed.

We live in New Brunswick, Canada and will attend several weekend campouts with our Good Sams chapter. (We have a great time together)Will attend Nascar in New Hampshire twice and Delaware once. Have our family campout July 1st weekend. As well, will probably camp at local race track several times this summer. If you are planning for this summer, come up to eastern Canada. Friendly people, beautiful scenery, and Lobster galore. As well, the border crossing is hassle free. Don't believe the stories. We would love to have you visit.

Always wanted to see Quebec but never made it for one reason or another. We've been to Alberta twice and Toronto once but it's Quebec I really want to see.

Finally....we have been going back and forth trying to decide where to go. At one time, it was Michigan, then Colorado, then a DC/NY trip. Also thrown in there several times in between was going back to Destin, Florida. So I bit the bullet and made reservations for a few nights at Topsail Hill State Preserve and a few nights at Grayton Beach State Park. This will be towards the end of April for spring break. All paid for and done. Can't beat full hook ups at state parks for an average of $40/night after taxes/fees.

Will stop on the way down there and back overnight somewhere in the Georgia/Alabama state line area. Will probably take a week in the summer and hit the mountains as well.

Two reservations at NYS parks are booked and paid for in June and July. Planning on another, probably in August some time. Since we're flying to Texas in April to visit family and get some bass fishing in, we're going to stay a little more local in 2014.

Have several weekends reserved at Fort Wilderness at Disney (live nearby); and have a longer trip to Grand Canyon in September for our 30th anniversary. Will be staying at Trailer Village.

Want to try some of the Florida State park campgrounds, starting with Lake Louisa State Park.

That's what is planned for now. Daughter gets married in April. Ceremony and reception at Disney World, so we'll be spending a night at the Grand Floridian (not cheap!) and my daughter and her fiance are treating us to a few nights at the Boardwalk afterwards. Fortunately, I am very blessed to have a wife who loves to save money, so we had the money saved for the wedding. :)

Hotel prices for the wedding make me VERY glad we bought a camper.
