Ho boy. Yet another KOA bashing. Been on here for several years and they come along.
You have choices - most of the time very close. And, if not, realize you have to pay the price or alter your trip. If that were not a KOA, how would your post have read?
We have no problem staying at a KOA, many times by choice. We don't need the amenities but we know they are there and in the price. But we also know they must meet some standards that Joe Schmoe's does not have to.
When working I traveled and, guess what, I would stay at Holiday Inns for the same reason.
WiFi? RV parks do the best they can to provide to meet the standards of most people without paying out the nose for it. People abuse it, simple as that. Been to 182 different RV parks and, by far, the worst WiFi places we have not were NOT KOA's. There was a place in Moab that blatantly lied to me over and over telling me - and others - it was a city wide issue. I took my laptop to a McDonalds and other places all over town and never had a problem.
OK, enuf from me. These broad brush cries of outrage just get me goin' !
