Would someone please explain what "overpriced" means when they apply that to all KOAs? The parks seem to stay in business, so their are not priced so high that they have no customers. If the "overpriced" price is $44.00, what constitutes the fair price? Is it $42.00? $38.00? $10.00? If it is $42.00 or even $38.00, what makes that $2.00 to $6.00 difference the breaking point?
I don't hear too many other businesses getting the blanket "overpriced" label. $100.00 a night for a hotel room is very steep for Manhattan Kansas, but won't get you a closet in Manhattan, New York City. A $30,000 price for a new Chevrolet is a ripoff on a Spark, but it is a dang deal on a fully loaded Suburban. For something to be "overpriced" there has to be context.
Many posts say they don't want certain things included with a KOA stay. That is fine, but you have to pay for what they offer. Disneyland will require you pay the entire daily fee even if all you do is go ride Magic Mountain and leave. Like KOA, you get the entire package, whether you want it or not.
