All parks have their ups and downs, even KOA. I have been staying in a KOA for the winter in Tx. It doesn't have a bunch of amenities, but then again it only costs me about $11 a day. Clean, well maintained-I have no complaints. I always use Allstays to research parks and for the most part have been very happy with where I end up each time. Try finding the Passport America parks where you can get a night at half price. That way if it isn't up to your standards, well, you didn't pay a whole lot for it. Just need to do a little homework.
