Interesting thread. Our travels have taken us to many campgrounds, independent and KOA branded. Never have we chosen one because it is or isn't KOA or independent, we choose because it is where we want to be along the way, not the destination. If Allstays and RVparkreviews say it's decent, good enough for us, and they always were. Some are worth a second night, but some were just reasonable RV parking lots. All the rates were between $32 and $44 dollars, never had good wifi at any of them, but didn't expect it either. I guess I'm not coming to a conclusion here, just offering our observation. KOA or independent have good and bad.
