Wild Fire in Glacier NP - this is bad

The west side of the park is open, and smoke is not an issue. Today, park officials are saying the fire had not spread as far as they thought it would. It had consumed maybe 5,000 acres, as of this morning, was headed towards a fire block firefighters had created. I have not seen any fire helicopters all day; last night we saw a few (or one a few different times) fly over the West Glacier KOA on their way to the fire.
A tour we had booked for today was only half full, the itinerary was adjusted to accommodate the road closure, but it was still a fun day!
Although we feel horrible it happened, We are looking at it as an adventure!:B
