Williamsburg and D.C. Campground recommendations

We are considering a trip where we will spend several days in each area, and we're hoping for recommendations. We generally prefer state/county/national parks to private cg's, but that is not a deal b...

Not sure about the state parks... a lot of them have closed for the season in the mid-atlantic area for the season, I think Cherry Hill is still open, and they have a regular bus stop on the property that takes you into DC. Good Luck and Happy Camping !!
