Williamsburg and D.C. Campground recommendations

We are considering a trip where we will spend several days in each area, and we're hoping for recommendations. We generally prefer state/county/national parks to private cg's, but that is not a deal b...

I forgot to mention we will be traveling the week after Easter for spring break.
