Williamsburg and D.C. Campground recommendations

We are considering a trip where we will spend several days in each area, and we're hoping for recommendations. We generally prefer state/county/national parks to private cg's, but that is not a deal b...

X2 for American heritage in Williamsburg

Stayed twice in the same year...once as a waypoint for our summer trip on the way back from OBX and then again for Thanksgiving. Both times we had a really nice stay... don't think there is a bad spot in the park.
