Willow Tree Route

For those of you who head south on I-95, how do you go to Willow Tree (Longs, SC)? Do you exit just south of Lumberton onto 74 east? We do and then we get off onto Hwy 410 and go through Chadbourn and head down to Tabor City.

Just seems there is no really great way to get there. Any other better routes?
  • For being a major vacation and golfing destination on the east coast, the entire South Carolina coastal area is one of the hardest to get to. 12 of us used to do golf vacations from Cincinnati on Myrtle Beach on hotel packages. We got off of I-95 near Florence, but we were still 70 miles from MB. We just watched for the billboards advertising Pedros CG. They started showing up around Knoxville. :)
  • You're good. US 74 at Lumberton, then once on 410, we pick up US 701 to SC 9 East to Willow Tree.
    Awesome CG, have fun!

Looking at a map. You will find many, many ways to get to MB. It's really pretty easy now days. Super highway all the way in.

Please elaborate as I haven't found them in 5 years.
  • From Brevard NC to MB 26, 20, and 501. IF you want to go to NMB hit 22, or 31 down a little farther. .

Really. there are just too many ways to mention.

just dont drive past the road to get to Willowtree. If you drive past the Foodlion in Longs on SC 9 you have passed your road to turn..
