- fanrgsExplorerHow long a commute can you do to Estes Park? If you can stay as far away as Fort Collins, try Horsetooth Reservoir at:
Horsetooth Reservoir campground
Horsetooth is a BuRec lake with a campground managed by the Larimer County Parks & Rec Dept. It open year-round and has both electric-only and full hookup sites. US 34 was washed out by the Sept. 2013 flood, but was just completely reopened in the past month. - TucsonJimExplorer III checked out four different parks near Estes Park, and all of them close on October 15th.
However, I did find that the Boulder County Fairgrounds has camping for $25 per night with both water and power. They are open year round.
Boulder County Fairgrounds - kknowltonExplorer IIYou might check rvparkreviews - campgrounds are listed by town - to see what CGs are near RMNP. The campgrounds' websites (links provided on rvparkreviews) will tell you if they are open year-round. Good luck!

- Old_DaysExplorer IIFinding electric in the Rocky Mt. campgrounds is hard to do,also Yellowstone. We added a second battery under the hood that is charged by the truck,so when we travel it is charging. So far we have not had a problem going without electric for over a week.
