- LowsuvExplorerWe are camping with our adult kids at Bullards Beach on the Oregon Coast in a couple of weeks .
We have made plans to be camping with old Parkrose High School friends in exactly 6 months .
I could tell you where but we expect to need about 8 campsites to accomodate everybody .
We are scattered around the state now and this is a good way to get everybody together .
We anticipate a Beach Boys concert and an Elvis sighting at the campground .... - Cup_fanExplorerWe've finally decided on the black hills...can't wait.
- garmpExplorer IIRV Nomads, that's just it, living in the midwest, it's really hard to plan a trip. I mean, ice in Texas, snow in Louisiana, frost in Florida. Looks like where to go is the issue. It's when will the weather break so we CAN go. We generally plan a trip to a southern beach right after the snow birds leave and before the spring breakers get there. It'll be tight this year, or not???
- RV_NomadsExplorerCurrently frozen in Beaumont, Texas... When it thaws will travel to Victoria, TX, then Harlingen for a few weeks. Stay Warm!
- UppercrustExplorerWe basically have our summer camping trips planned. I also have a trip planned to see Frontier Days in Wyoming for a weekend, then head to spend a week in Custer. Taken my college daughter & a friend who is from Japan and never been out west, I am looking forward to spending time with my daughter. We are not camping but staying in cabins.
- BipeflierExplorerI find it hard to believe that with it being 10 degrees here now and zero overnight, I am planning a trip to Colorado this summer so I can spend some time in the high country where it will be COOLER!
Sometimes I question my sanity.
Going to do some off road MC riding. - miloExplorer IINuttin planned yet... Ain't got the TT anymore..sold it and now we're waiting for our new one to come in. But DW & I will for sure do our Northwest tour next September cuz we gotta see DD.
- skipncharExplorerWe spend our winter months (when not traveling to warmer weather) traveling within a couple of hundred miles of home scouting for new camping opportunities in our local area. Next summer we put what we found into use for camping trips with the family.
- Windwalker55ExplorerWinter does stink. Have had spring trips to plan the last couple of years but this year haven't gotten into it. Guess I better get on the ball.
- minn_camping_faExplorerWe don't have a lot planned yet but we are hoping to camp for Easter (unless the weather is horrible which is quite possible here) and Memorial Day, then we are thinking of finally getting to Colorado this summer for our big trip. Probably will leave the TT at home for that one so we can be more mobile.
It's hard for us to plan far in advance due to the hubby's work schedule. Our state parks take reservations a year in advance, so many times everything is booked up when we finally get to looking. Because of this the number of weekend trips for us has gone down in the last few years. :(
