- michigansandzilExplorerYep I've got the blues here too. Tomorrow is a predicted windchill of -35 degrees......again. Holy Cow!!
I've been planning for the past few months.
April-Tennessee. Smoky Mountains for a week. Staying in Cosby.
May-Ohio. Cuyahoga Valley National Park over Memorial weekend.
June-Pennsylvania. Gettysburg and Hersheypark. Probably staying at Codorus State Park.
July-Michigan. Lake Michigan at Wilderness State park then on to Tahquamenon Falls State Park in the Upper Penninsula.
July-Michigan. Silver Lake Sand Dunes.
August-Michigan. Tawas Point State Park on Lake Huron.
August-Indiana. Yogi Bear Campground.
Plus a few more local weekend camping trips. Can't wait! - ClaireOKCExplorerAlready planned at mapped out a trip to Big Bend...including Marfa and the McDonald Observatory. The observatory does a real neat program at night (duh!!!), where they serve dinner on the grounds, with a brief program of that night's highlights and then have about 5 or 6 scopes set up so you can tour the sky. It's a really neat program and has been on my bucket list for a while now. We're there during spring, but hopefully a trip planned this fall...that plan should get me through the "dog days" of winter, although we're not nearly as cold and socked in as the North is!
- AJMomExplorerWe're planning a two week trip through New England, and I completely agree...planning and researching has definitely helped with my winter blues! Have a great time!

Been planning all winter! Got trips planned, at least one rally and--drum roll!--taking off full time by fall whether or not my house sells. :)
Gotta do what you gotta do for your camping trips! - schwipps324Explorer

Well that sure sounds like a good way to beat the blues!
We're going to Hawaii this year so no extended RV trip.
I guess things could be worse. ;)
