Had to skip our 2015-16 snowbird venture due to health reasons.
God willing we will make up for it 2016-17 despite the painful Ca$ exchange.
Our first snowbird venture south was in 2009-10 in our new to us 1998 Allegro Bus with all the dry camping fittings but we never really used them. Always went for the comforts of rv resorts. Not so in 2016-17....we be going dry camping and at the same time tick off two items from the bucket list.
Mid Oct. we plan on driving the Oregon Coast in the reverse direction we did in 2014. Our first bucket list objective is visiting the General Sherman giant sequoia. We will then spend the winter at Imperial Dam and Quartzsite BLM.
In late March we will head northward but detour to our second bucket list objective...the Four Corners and the Anasazi Ruins and hopefully home (Fruitvale BC) by mid April.
