- memtbExplorerEnvious....we just got our first snow a few minutes ago. You had to look “real close” to see it falling! As in realestate sales...location, location, location! ;)

That is what it looks like here in south central Wyoming right now and it's 12 degrees. - richcloverExplorerWyocowboy00 wrote: “...That is what it looks like here in south central Wyoming right now and it's 12 degrees... “
We had a long, hot dry summer here in the southwest corner but, as always, winter is coming ;)
After a nice week for the elk season, of course. - memtbExplorerwyocowboy00, We’re still pretty warm, here in the basin.....with “no” snow ( at least here). Our low this morning was 28, but fall has arrived! :B
- dedmistonModeratorWe're from L.A. and our daughter went to UWYO for her undergrad and her doctorate. I'll never forget her grumpy text from her freshman year. She made it through the tough winter without complaining, but heavy snow during finals week in May pushed her too far. She sent a picture of the snow with the caption "What is this ridiculousness?!?!"
We rented a Class C in Denver so we could crash at her her place for graduation (just like Cousin Eddie). It was sunny when we got there, but it dumped snow on us and we couldn't leave at the end of our stay. I've never seen a shorter summer anywhere than WY. What an amazing place though.
You all were such amazing hosts for our kid. She lived all over the state after she graduated and and during her clinicals (Laramie, Casper, Evanston, Sheridan...). She couldn't have been treated better. - memtbExplorerWhen I was working in the SW side of the state....we would have a competition between some of us, trying to pick...what “day” would be summer! ??

Generally I would agree! But, one year we got rain and snow for the “Fourth”! :( Glad I didn’t pick the “Fourth” that year! :B - richcloverExplorer

August 4th usually works for me. The old timers hereabouts have seen snow in town every month of the year. Wife and I have seen it September through June, but we have been here (SW WY), for only 24 summers ;)
