Has anyone seen any of the Fire Pits that are made out of OLD PROPANE TANKS?.. We saw then here last year but by the time we went back they had sold out...
Thanks JustLee......... - GottahaveitModeratorHey Lee I happen to know someone that made me one :W
- SCVJeffExplorerHiding about a mile past the turnoff on the South side.. Shhhhhhhh.....
- Snowman9000ExplorerWe are on the northeast corner of the G block, in our little sunseeker class C. Say hi if you are so inclined. Not sure if we are leaving today or tomorrow, for the desert 5 miles north as advocated above.

LoL ok I won't say a word... Doubt we will make it back there, but oh goodness there sure is a lot out there..... - NinerBikesExplorer
I think I'm 400 meters up the road on the north side of plomosa. A baby
Travel trailer among 5th wheels and motorhomes. 150 watts of solar kicking a little butt with the telecom surplus battery. Thanks wizard! Gorgeous weather the few days I've been here. Scv and I might head down to the ham radio shindig today. - DAS26milesExplorer IISCVJeff , NinerBikers and others
Looks like we are heading your way tomorrow early and will catch the last 2 days of the show. We will most likely grab a spot in La Posa West within walking distance of the tent. Are you guys staying past Sunday? If so, may hunt you down for a visit.

Don't worry, the DW and I don't drink, anti hypertensive mediactions. Yeah, we are a lot of fun! - pnicholsExplorer IIWe've been here at Q since last Tues evening - mostly looking at/buying rocks except for part of one day in the Big Tent.
The RV show seemed to have a large variety of interesting RV-related products in addition to the usual fluff stuff. I did buy a fluff item and I hope I didn't get took: A 10,000 mAH Li "Portable Power Bank" solar rechargeable gizmo I bought that you carry in your pocket to provide 4-5 top ups of iPads, iPhones, and Garmin navigators when not around wall sockets! I'm always wanting to plan trips sitting somewhere with the Garmin and then suddenly having it's battery needing a charge in order to continue.
Interesting: A Dairy Queen that was open, but out of ice cream ... and a fast food place (the only thing open at night) that was a short-on-help disaster. The fast food place experience was the only time in my life that I've experienced way-overly-done nearly black onion rings!
The weather here has been superior! After five days of drycamping (Pow Wow parking lot - not boondocking) and having to top up the batteries occasionally with all three - idling V10, running the Onan built-in, and running the Honda portable - some solar on the roof would have been helpful! BTW, our idling engine's alternator output has momentarily spiked to 80 amps during coach battery recharging. That was a pleasant surprize.
We've come three times to Q in a row now, and plan to continue. Of course we usually combine the Q trip with other side trips in AZ. This time we're visiting Tombstone, and taking a desert road along the Colorado river looking for petrified wood. - Snowman9000ExplorerWe moved out to Plomosa road. Lots of groups. But since we don't know anyone here, it's boring. We will likely head to Wickenburg tomorrow..
- DAS26milesExplorer IIMade it! La Posa West by tent
