NinerBikes, it's about 1.5 miles away from where we are camped. Not up to such a long walk. Are you still up at Plomosa and for how long? We are thinking of spending tonight Sunday up that way,
Snowman9000 and Mr Wizard still here?

Packed it up and headed on home around 1:30 pm, to try to miss the rush traffic from Coachella Valley to home. The mineral show was starting to wrap up by about 1 pm, many vendors starting to load up the trucks, next stop, Tucson for a mineral collectors show.
I had a wonderful time, special thanks to SCVJeff for a great rag chew back at his campsite. We didn't solve any of the worlds problems, but we did relax and have a great time! - DAS26milesExplorer III know, we see a few groups down here, but I see all these group shots with 10-20 rigs in a circle. We've talked with some and they say they come every year, meet the same group and catch up. They do potlucks, central fire and do many things. Someone in the group has a toad or tow vehicle and help get everyone to shops, big tent or the stuff like the Quartzsite Yatch club and the senior center. I think there is a learning curve.
- Snowman9000ExplorerIt would be more enjoyable to be in a rally or group. Be great to have a campfire etc. If there was going to be something like that, we'd be more likely to come back. By ourselves, it's "eh"', maybe. We did have fun.
- DAS26milesExplorer IIThanks, we are heading home to LA tomorrow. Are you coming back next year, or is once enough? Wish there were more who'd like to get together and circle the wagons.
- Snowman9000ExplorerOh so that is where Plomosa West is. I didn't know. I saw rigs there when we were in town. Have fun!
- DAS26milesExplorer IISnowman9000. Got it on Plomosa. The DW says too late to break camp. Thanks, dark in 10 minutes. Have a safe trip!
We are just south of big tent in La Posa west
