Yellowstone 2013

I am planning on being in Yellowstone in mid July. I know that this is early and the parks are just opening up, but has anyone experienced any impact from the Parks financial issues. Are the information centers open? Are Rangers still giving talks and tours? Is there any thing that we should prepare for differently this year? Thanks for any feed back. I am sure others who are planning on being in Yellowstone in June, July and August would appreciate any special "Heads Up" advice.

    Your only problem will be finding a place to stay, if you don't already have reservations.

    Enjoy the park, we will be there the first part of July.

    Shouldn't have any problems of things being closed in Yellowstone in mid July. In '86 we were there in mid June...some ice around Luis or is it Louis Lake, not all the campground loops were open. Most everything else was up & going.

    An older post with Info on Yellowstone.

    Don't forget the Tetons. Very Neat Area.

    Haven't been out to know about any impact from the Parks financial issues.
