We stayed at Yellowstone Holiday RV Resort on Hebgen Lake. It is a 15 minute drive to the West Yellowstone Gate. It is peaceful + serene after full days of touring Yellowstone Nat'l Park.
We stayed at the Flagg Ranch Campground on the north side of Grand Tetons, 2 miles south of Yellowstone. We had full hookups w/50 amp electricity. If you need Wi-Fi you have to go to the hotel's lobby. If you need satellite TV, you will, with a couple of exceptions, need a portable antenna. The RV Park (friendly) check-in staff don't have big rig experience, so recommend you walk to your RV site before driving your RV to it. We made use of a couple of the tours packages at the hotel. They were excellent. Later that week we drove back to the places we wanted to re-visit + had a wonderful day on the south side at Jackson Hole.
We were at the parks in Sept 2013. Enjoy your trip.
