In Tetons, you basically have two choices, 1.) inside the park (and spectacular views that are almost too good to believe), or 2.) outside the park - usually at Moran - Jackson is further away, and these can be pricey. We stayed at Moran because we were there in the spring, and the park sites weren't open so we didn't have a choice. Of course this means you're boondocking (little or no hook-ups), but the pay off are the views, which are to die for.....I think Gros Ventre CG is the best for inside the park.
At Yellowstone, a lot of folks recommend W. Yellowstone, but we like Gardiner. Now we're more into the animals than the geology (we felt you can see that in one day with a tour through those areas), but the animals are always happening - Lamar Valley, Hayden Valley, and there was terrific bear action during the spring last year. We try and stay at Yellowstone River, but they require advanced reservations (they open April 1st and call that morning), because many of the staff from YNP stay there.
