Yellowstone to Mount rushmore whats in between?

Never been to Yellowstone before, so next vacation going there and also want to see Mount rushmore too. Is there any other sights to be seen in between the 2 places? Also is there any good camping wit...

How much time do you have?

It is about an 8 hr drive between the two going direct.
to stop at the above listed.. would add quite a bit of time... as in a couple days (allowing for time to enjoy)

oh... and it is Custer.. Not Custard....
Unless of course you are referring to an excellent soft serve ice cream spot somewhere in central WY :) :) :) ;)
