Yellowstone to Mount rushmore whats in between?

Never been to Yellowstone before, so next vacation going there and also want to see Mount rushmore too. Is there any other sights to be seen in between the 2 places? Also is there any good camping wit...

You can swim in Yellowstone in the Firehole River swimming hole. Its one of the few "official" places you can take a dip inside Yellowstone. Its not too far from the west entrance as I recall.
