Yellowstone to Mount rushmore whats in between?

Never been to Yellowstone before, so next vacation going there and also want to see Mount rushmore too. Is there any other sights to be seen in between the 2 places? Also is there any good camping wit...

I do not know what route you are taking, but we really enjoyed the side-trip to Thermopolis, WY. The drive along the Wind River was very scenic and the town has a nice museum. There are hot springs in town.
