As I have told many people, after 50+ years of going to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, I believe that Grand Teton National Park is "prettier and more majestic" than is Yellowstone but that Yellowstone has way more features that make it worthwhile to visit the Park. However, we fish Jackson Lake in Teton most of the time and sitting in the shadow of Mt. Moran having lunch in Moran Bay cannot be beat for having a great life. Went to Yellowstone one day this summer and saw some features we had not seen before, and, yes, there were a whole bunch of people. However, taking our time we saw some really remarkable stuff and had a great time. "Too many people" is merely someone's excuse for not enjoying life. You really have to experience Yellowstone rather than just "see" it.
