Hello, first I'm new to the forum so if I asked this question in the wrong group I apologies.My question is what campground in Yellowstone would you recommend? I am in a 27' travel trailer. don't mind dry camping. Just want to go to a good campground.

1. Do a search, for Yellowstone. You will find lots of posting already.2. After you search, you need to give more information on why you could not find the exact answer to your needs.But to answer you question by far the best is Baker Hole.

I'm not sure if there are any "bad" campgrounds in Yellowstone, some are just more suited to individual campers needs. Good luck with your search, I know you'll enjoy the trip. And don't forget to check out Grand Teton since you're so close.Doug

I prefer to stay inside the Park. Dry camping.Madison Campground for the south Loop.Mammoth Campground for the north Loop and Lamar Valley.

if you can get in :) Madison is very shady, set inside a forest of lodgepole pines. water and dumpBridge Bay has a large open area on a slope, and a large area set in trees. water and dumpMammoth is set on a slope with great views, etc and isn't hard to navigate. water and dumpNorris campground is small and pretty with good shade.we like Bridge Bay best because we like being close to Fishing Bridge visitor center and Lake Lodge's dining room... decent food for decent price. and because it is kind of centrally located.
