Yellowstone

Thinking about going into Yellowstone from the west entrance and driving through to the south entrance. Two questions, can this be done in a day, still checking out a few sites like old faithful? Second question, we have a 37ft mh with toad, are the roads pretty decent?

Any recommendations on places to stay between the south entrance and the Tetons? Don't need many frills other than FHU.
