From Los Angles, the Grapevine will be much more of a test than any grades entering yosemite's south gate off CA41. About 5 miles North of a Fresno CA turns into 2 lane highway for about 60 miles till you get to the south gate. The entire 60 miles is a very mild grade, I can't think of any notable grades that would be of concern.
I can't recommend a full hook up park, we haven't stayed in...several do exist in Oakhurst/Bass Lake area though. Oakhurst does have actual grocery stores too, if you prefer to stock up closer to your destination.
