Some sites do have extra width for parking next to the RV. They tend to be on the curves of the loops or near intersections. I lucked into one of those wide sites, Lower Pines #38, on my last visit.
Yes, I tried to get Lower Pines # 38 but it was taken by the time I had clicked refresh at 7 am sharp.
Thanks for your comments. I think I'll be ok. Photos of the site seem to show it quite clear of trees at the roadway.
