One thing about your first one Phil...uuhhmm..oh, never mind.

Are you referring to my old rig's fully vented propane furnace that did not take any battery power (super good), or .... it's lack of four wheel drive (kindof bad)? :B

By the way, my old rig did not come from GM with a PARK gear, either (ultra bad). This made for very scary parking on slopes/hills - having to always trust in only the parking brake and/or rocks under the tires! I can't believe GM was allowed to build and sell an automatic transmissioned truck chassis like this in the U.S.!

No kidding? geeezus..how could they have allowed that? Oh well...it's all good now, eh.

Just a note..but I am hoping to be in Ca. come Feb/Mar. Plans are to go to Tecopa Hot Springs and wander the desert for a bit. I expect I'll drift over to The Slabs, to say hi.

Well Gary, I'd invite you up to our neck of the woods if we had the room.

Why ... compare Tecopa Hot Springs upcoming weather:

Hhhmm..well, that is now and I am planning for end of February. I've been before and am looking forward to nice long soaks, good food and some serious martini mixing. A buddy from Illinois and I are going to meet up.

    it's photoshopped...:R

if it were mattracks there would be no wheels/tires

It's MATTRACKs and it's not photoshopped. I saw these last week and they probably need a pickup truck to transport them.

You drive the tires onto them and they lock in place. The wheels actually drive the treads as you drive along.
