You would think it was the 4th of July!

Hostiing at a central Oregon Coastal SP, all loops open and we are likely to be 95% to 100% full this weekend! This a 250+ site park.
No big event on the coast this weekend, just clear skies and high 60’s to low 70’snand no rain.
WOW!!
  • We were at a state park in northern Indiana this past weekend and it was full also despite the rainy weather we had. Many of the popular state parks in Michigan were booked as well when we looked online. Even the fall season is beginning to be a challenge at some parks now. I don't like to make long range plans in the fall because you never know what the weather could be like.

Rving is becoming really popular, amazing to see all the new rv's in parks now days. Not to get sidetracked but you can usually spot the newbies because everything they have is new - chairs, grills, matts, etc.

  • We spent more than a week in two different OR SPs this summer, and they were jammed full the entire time. Nice parks, but oh my were they popular! Glad we had reservations!
