What is your favorite campground in Texas and why? We are continuing our Texas exploration and want to try out some new campgrounds. Jim

Inks Lake -- we go,twice every summer. Memorial Day & Labor Day. Well-run park, Rangers are on top of EVERYTHING, clean restrooms/showers. Son likes to fish, hike, & explore. Oh & jump off the cliff at Devils Waterhole. Mom gets to float.
Garner. Love love love it. I'm just happy to take my lawn chair down to Rocky Beach every day & in the shade of the giant cypress trees dabble my feet in the Frio & read my book.
Brazos Bend-- tons of things to do. We try to go in the fall or spring. Love to take a hike around the lake looking for 'gators during the day. Do the Star Party thing at the George Observatory on Saturday night. Never gets old.
These are our 3 faves. We try others but keep coming back to these.
