What is your favorite campground in Texas and why? We are continuing our Texas exploration and want to try out some new campgrounds. Jim

I have not found one state park, LCRA or COE we did not like in TX. We have been to many of them over the last 12 yrs and different times of the seasons. Just got back from Davis Mts. SP and it was very hot, the trees are so stressed from no rain. It rained all around us just not in the park. Outside of TX we have enjoyed Burns Run East. Last year in July we went to Ft Cobb SP, OK had a great time. I was happy to see water & trees.
