What is your favorite campground in Texas and why? We are continuing our Texas exploration and want to try out some new campgrounds. Jim

A little known, small state park that is great for tent camping and goofing off is called Mother Neff. It was actually Texas' first state park. It's RV sites are not that great but if you want to get away in a quiet park during the busy season, it works. Very close to I-35/Waco.
