I have found the COE parks in Texas to be a much better value than the State Parks, especially when getting half price campsites with the National Park Senior Pass. Most don't have sewer, but the storage facility where I keep my trailer has a dump station if I don't want to sit in line at the park. I did do a drive through the Inks Lake SP and it looked pretty nice. I may stay there one of these days. My favorite places within a days drive and for a long weekend are the Arkansas SPs. Pristine and a good value.Sorry, but after several trips to Jackson Hole and Southern Utah, the thrill of driving around Texas is pretty much gone.
