- bobsallyhExplorer IIallmc, You may be talking about the former pump at Foothills Blvd and 40th St. That corner lot is dug up, chain linked fenced off and for sale by a commercial real estate outfit.

With city and other taxes, the $2.03 a gallon is $2.19. Amerigas bought the cheap place out here in the Foothills a couple of weeks ago. They have now become the price leader as in high No surprise there so most of the propane business has shifted to other outlets here. Also don't look for the Amergas joint to be open Saturdays or half day Sundays during the latter part of December and into January.
Not sure if you are referring to the drive through fill station that was on Foothills Blvd. south of I-10 or not. We were in that area in November and I noted that the fill station that was there was gone, I thought that it was because of the road construction in the area, but the closure may also have been because of the buy out mentioned.
That station was handy, we used to drive in and have the cylinder filled without having to take it out of the pick up box! - bobsallyhExplorer IISure do remember Sgt. Joe. Merry Christmas! I think when I went past the place you go for propane this past Monday it was $2.35.
- SGTJOEExplorer IIThanks Bob, the one owned by Cactus West Of Walmart is the one I always pull in to when I get there. Just paid 44 bucks for 11 gal delivered here in Vegas. I met you at the park you stay in about 7 years ago.
- bobsallyhExplorer IIGuys, Amerigas bought out Cactus Propane on S. Frontage Rd. beteeen Blue Sky RV Park and the new laundry at 32nd and Payson Ave formerly owned by Curt. Cactus Storage and Propane on N. Frontage near Bonita Mesa RV Park is a different operation. Is in no way hooked up with the S. Frontage Rd. operation which is now Amerigas. There is no signage that this is now Amerigas, only a company owned pick-up that parks near the office. The pumpers now must where gloves, full face shields and customers MUST stand behind the red line that is sprayed on the ground around the fill stands. One of the pumpers told us "don't look for this pace to be open Saturdays or half-day Sundays". The operation that is west of Wal-Mart and on the south side of 32nd is simply a satellite operation of Cactus Storage and Propane on N. Frontage Rd. The motel across from Pizza Hut on Fortuna Rd. has removed their tank and pump. Rumor Control had it that they are going to be replaced but I'll believe it when I see it.
- The_TexanExplorerThanks Joe ..... Glad it wasn't Cactus Propane, as they have a lowest price guarantee and they do match. I had a coupon from a place in town that was 45ยข/gal cheaper and they matched.
Are you an ATVer? If so we ride here in Wellton if interested. - SGTJOEExplorer II

Hi Bob, was that the one along the frontage road before the Walmart close to Wally World. They have two tanks to fill from. - The_TexanExplorerAmerigas here is a total joke. I have a contract with them for my S & B, plus my RV when home and up there they will honor any contract you present with another Amerigas division. Here they said go pound sand, we will NOT honor your contract or any other Amerigas contract from any other locale.
Which company did they buy here in the Yuma area? - bobsallyhExplorer IIWith city and other taxes, the $2.03 a gallon is $2.19.
