- KOExplorerRivers Edge in Winterhaven, CA right across the Colorado River and next to the first exit to Yuma should have space - and they have trees!
- mikimExplorerWe go to Yuma, AZ once every 2 or 3 years to visit snowbird family. We have always been able to get a site for a few nights over Martin Luther King Weekend. We have stayed at Fortuna De Oro in the "Foothills" and Shangra La.
I am told that it starts getting real crazy in February. - LaurenExplorerYuma Palms if first class and would go back in a heartbeat.
- SteveRuffExplorerFinding a place for a few days in Yuma in January is the problem. This is the height of the snowbird season and places are at a premium with seasonal, monthly, and weekly rentals getting preference. Most places do have a "boondocking" area where you can park with few or no amenities, but are first up when someone leaves. You still get to use all the facilities. If you are frantic you might try Southern Mesa. It is a Passport America Park that honors PA even during the season but it is very far out down one of the county roads almost to Mexico.

Best weather in the winter, - bobsallyhExplorer IIWith 73 RV parks in the Yuma area it all depends on what amenities you want or can do without. Of course January is prime time so rates for one month will reflect that. And I caution all RV arks are not created equal. This is our 11th season in Yuma.
