I think that Springdale is the only entrance with full hookup RV parks nearby. The east side does not have any RV parks that I know about.
The 'north' side, you have to walk out, there are no roads. The south side is a cliff, so it might take a helicopter. . .
You should be able to take the tram from town to the park, and avoid parking problems. There is a tram that is required transportation around the interior of the park in all but 3 winter months.
I did stay in the park a few years ago, and they have 30 amp electric services in many sites, so you do not need to run a generator. But the dump station is nearby, so having larger than average tanks helps! I am so used to dry camping, I can make my 100 gallon fresh water tank last 2 weeks.
