Zion National Park

My husband and I are planning a trip to Zion N.P. in September. I am trying to make reservations in a campground and need to know which entrance to the park I want to be near. We want to hike and see the most scenic areas so would it be best for us to enter through Springdale? If not where is the best entrance? Please advise us if you have been there and know the area.

Campground recommendations for a 45 motorhome would also be welcomed!

Thanks in advance,
Leslie

Sitting in Zion River Rv Resort right now, pricy but well worth it. The campground in downtown springdale is not nearly this nice.

Suggest sites 1 through 33 they are wider than my row 34-39

I have been here 4 days and all the people here are really nice.

  • You are too long to go thru the tunnel, so Springdale will have to be the entrance. If you can manage on only electric, I would try and stay in the Park in the Watchman CG.
