Zooland in Asheboro NC or Crosswinds in Linwood?

We are planning on our first weekend out for 13 this coming weekend. My wife has to work the week in Charlotte, so we're headed west out of Apex. I'm thinking 2 hours max as I leave from work in Car...

We love Crosswinds. Have stayed there 2x. They are Passport America park but with restrictions. They have some sites out in the open (for satellite) and lots of wooded sites. Be sure to read the directions and follow them. It's a bit tricky if you aren't paying attention. Nice bath house, pool. Very nice friendly management.
