Very nice. I like the idea of using a 2 inch receiver too. It might confuse a few folks :) but it can also be used for other things - an antenna perhaps, etc.
The only addition I might consider is to mount a small LED light that shines on the flag. Then you can leave it up overnight. Power might come from one of the wires on the 7-pin plug which is close-by.
