5th Wheel Flag Pole Mount

I have to brag on my father-in-law for a minute, his latest project turned out really good. He fabricated/welded/bolted a hitch receiver to the front of his 5th wheel for use with a Wonder Pole flag pole.

    Here's More pics.

Angle irons were welded to the pin box with nuts welded to backside to accept stainless bolts. Lamp brackets bolted to top of pin box.

The bracket is 2" X 2" square aluminum tubing. The pole holders on each end are 2" ID by 12" long to accept the telescoping flag poles

Power for the lights is provided from the battery wire on the 7 pin plug.

Here you go. Just some angle iron and a hitch extender welded together then bolted on.

  • Got my Flag Pole Mount installed on the RV today. I love the mount design idea modified it to use a full size 2' receiver bar. Cut out the design using cardboard taped to the bar and took it to a friend, Andrew Mazza, who cleaned it up and welded the mount for me. I think it turned out really great.
