Before

Almost done

We are finally getting some boards up!
Hit a snag getting the angles just right on the front. AFTER we had it up, glued, screwed and stapled, we did a second check to see if it matched up with the siding. It didn't. Luckily we caught it BEFORE the glue dried so we were able to pry out all the staples and get the wood reset to fit. Note to self, "check the fit twice, glue, screw and staple once." All the wood on the sides was so rotten that there wasn't much to use as a pattern. Additionally the factory didn't miter anything, it's all square cut then tacked together. Maybe they didn't have a miter saw?

All the duct tape on the siding is to try and keep our tarps from ripping to shreds. It's tornado season here in the midwest and the wind never stops blowing.
