Dear Langs,
You will only have an idea how glad I am to see someone doing this job right. I do boat work and frequently get asked to cleanup after a job like this was done wrong and less than completely.
I notice that you have not posted in almost two months and I don't fault you for that. What you have to do finish this for two real good reasons.
First is to lock in the pride that you (collective) should have in the work you did.
Second is to be a a warning to others what it will take if you let the RV leak a little and don't take care of it.
Leave the gray panel. It will be a conversation starter and then you can get out the book. We are all tired of pictures of grandchildren.
I wish I were in range to pat you both on the back.
