Adding more solar panels question?

I just got a 2000 Winnebago Adventurer 35B. It has a small solar panel on it already that seems to charge the batteries.

If I wanted to convert to solar to avoid using the generator, would I be able to simply attach more panels to the existing one and use the same system? Or do I need to just start from scratch and install a second, separate solar system?

    how large an existing panel ? little thing on top of the a/c ?

    start from scratch

    you still the generator for large items, coffee maker, MW etc..

    unless you go big on the battery bank and LARGE on the solar, very large

    and you will still use the generator occasionally, especially for the A/C

    What’s the wire size from the combiner box or where you will combine the old panel and the new to the controller?
    Are the current panel and new panel(s) compatible?
    What will your max amps be from all panels?
    What is the controller’s max input amps?
