Trailers really aren't built the same as a typical house, so while you can do most of the same upgrades, you just need to go about it different. Typically the cabinets are screwed into the studs from the outside, IE before the trailer is sided. I don't know how fiberglass siding is attached, but Al. is just stapled on, it's not a big deal to remove and replace. If you do take it off, just be careful with the longer runs so they don't twist and bend. Good luck with your mods.
