RVs can experience a large temp. extreme from summer to winter and the flooring will shrink and expand, and can pull the joints apart. The interlocking version of Allure is the one to use so that it is free-floating. There are other brands around too and some may be better quality.
It is VERY important to ensure that there is an expansion gap not only around the entire perimeter of the flooring, but also around floor vent cutouts, table leg flanges, entry door sill, toilet, etc. Failure to do this can lead to some of the planks pulling apart. You will need a baseboard of some sort to cover the expansion gap. I installed interlocking laminate in a previous TT and it pulled apart near the bed because I didn't make the expansion gap quite large enough. I redid that area and it's been fine ever since (sold the TT to my BIL who lives in an area of wide temp. extremes).
Sheet vinyl flooring even though free-floating, sometimes cracks in areas where the temp. gets really low. It can shrink enough that it typically cracks/tears at stress points like floor vent openings. The effect of summer to winter temp. extremes should not be ignored.
