Other than very expensive professional equipment, I have played with two signal hunters. One dis the Winegard SensarPro that works really well. The other is a small handheld spectrum analyzer that scans and displays even faster than the Winegard and shows the entire spectrum on an LCD display. The Winegard is about $75, and the other about $250. But they both do an excellent job
In addition to the Sensor Pro I also have I think what Jeff might be referring to and that is the DIGIAIR PRO 2. I got the DIGIAIR PRO 2 for fine tuning our home antenna and it's good since it gives signal strength down to .1DBM.
