- bdlaiseExplorerI use 4 or 5 inch galvanized duct work for heating. I dulled the edges so it doesn't cut the awning. It stays in place while parked between outings. It's light weight and not expensive.

As Chris said most use vinyl rain gutter but a Guy On Youtube used sewer pipe.
Looked like you could rip the awning putting it on.
I agree,I would NEVER try it.
I would disagree, I would sand the cut edges and take the rig on a 70 mph run late at night. I don't think the wind can get enough force under it to peel it off. - rhagfoExplorer III

........We keep the rig ready to go at the drop of a hat, best time 90 minutes from walking out of work to getting 5er and on the road.

Is it so important for it to stay on while traveling, that you are willing to risk loss of this item and safety of others on the road? If it flies off and hits somebody, are you going to tell them to sue Youtube?
Make it 2-piece and take it down for travel.
Also, check aluminum gutters - they are of different shape, might fit your particular setup better than vinyl.
If I did something I would not want to need to remove for travel! It would take too much to get going!
