Hey, Muddydogs and NeedAvacation, would you care to cooperate on this camera/monitor install?
I have the monitor already, record time for free shipping from China. I see the monitor has red and black wires, not much doubt about those, though it would be nice to know what voltage is expected. What the heck is the green wire for?
Two coax leads, with RCA connectors, one of each gender. Trial and error on those, I guess.
Read the details on Amazon. Some unfavourable comments - poor resolution, color and some buyers got duds.
The extra wire allows switching on/off while leaving the power on all the time. Not sure what that means but it suggests connecting the green to positive to power both simultaneously.
The two video connectors are for two cameras or other inputs, switched via the remote, I guess. Good news.
Power supply 9 to 24 volts.
